Silkscreen printing

Running alongside the digital studio, is the silkscreen studio. This is a fully functioning service for artists and galleries to have original screen print editions made.

 

Silkscreen is a very flexible print process, allowing you great range in producing exciting prints. Whatever you’re printing onto paper, board, mirror, metal, wood, Perspex or anything else, most surfaces will accept a print, providing that you use the right ink.

 

Working from digital files, photographic positives as well as handmade stencils and films, both solvent and acrylic based ink systems are used. The versatility and scope for interesting and unique works is possible for all silkscreen projects.

 

A glittering service is also available. This is similar to a ‘diamond dust’ effect, but far more affordable. With a good range of particle sizes and colours to choose from, nothing says bespoke quite like a bit of sparkle.

 

Edition quantities generally start from 10, excluding proofs. Printable sizes go up to 40” x 30”. For more details please call to discuss your ideas. Please book well in advance of any exhibition.
